美国驻外领馆对签证申请记录只保留一年
DS156 in most consulates are scanned and electronically stored since a few years ago. It will sure be available for review if DHS choose to examine it in the future. Even before 2000, OF forms (=new DS156) in selected consulates (in sensitive countries) were made to microfilm, The planned DS160 is all electronic, and now pilot tested in a few consulates.
