when you were arrested, was you put into the jail for the night? was you fingerprinted? did you have an arrest report? If there is an arrest report (jail time) or ticket number (for the charge), you can go to the public attorny office to see if they have a record on you. Even if the court did not charge you, you still need to expunge the record (arrest report), which can be an evidence that you were not charged.
