visa application in Beijing

Qiuck questions:

How long will a security check take now for a H-1B visa application in Beijing?

I entered US in J-1 visa 4 years ago, got H-1B visa 1 year ago in US, now have to go back to China to visit my parent. apply H-1B visa in Beijing for re-entry in this winter season, is it easy or not?

Any informations on this issue, let me know. Thanks a lot.
