I have H1B visa now and use this for work and it will expire the end of Feb.2009. But now I need to renew my driver license. I have I-485 receipt and EAD receipt which I just submitted a couple weeks ago. I checked here and found out some state do can use the I-485 receipt to renew driver license. But I still have questions about this.

Do I have to use EAD to work if I use I-485 receipt to renew my driver license?

Do my H1B visa will be invalid if I use I-485 receipt to renew my driver license?

Any way this it the question: Do I have to use the H1B to renew my driver license if I need this H1B to work?
