I am working in a high education and tenure track.

1. You mentioned that H1 will be void after a leave of 6+months. Is there a reference link?.

2. About I-485: if I receive RFE next summer (when the visa bulletion might jump forward), would it suffice if I show them letter of employment indicating that the school needs me to work in spring 2010? By definition, I will not have paycheck and W2 on unpaid leave.
