FP at different location...and different time?

Hi, my lawyer told me that I can "try" to do my fp at the ASC near me (since ld is a continent away) at the same time and date on the notice.
Is it possible to go a few days earlier since i have a class on the appointment date.
or it's safer at least to meet to original appointment time despite different location?
