1. H1 adoption is feasible, and as applied to US citizens, H1 holders don’t have to live with the adopted child for a minimum 2 yrs for qualification.

2. Important materials:
· Complete ID proof for both the parents and the child: passport, I-797, resident ID, Huko, etc
· NOTARIZED certificate of orphanage and adoption

3. Speak English to visa officer if possible
