I think your case is under background check,
famous B/C :)
lots of case since late 2001 are going through
like this.

this B/C period can be "as long as they want",
basically nothing you can do about it, including
file a complaint (well, you can, but useless)

I am not going to 2nd ME before I am sure B/C is end
