我的律师是这么回复我的：
as long as the PERM case is filed before the end of the 5th year on an H1-B, your H1-B can be extended one year at a time until a green card is decided.
我的问题是：目前公司不同意办EB2,只同意办EB3，按目前排期和给中国人的quota岂不是要等二十年才能开始申请485（网上有人这么估算的）。难道只要不换雇主，按目前的政策理论上H1可以延上二十年这么久？
律师还说：Once the I140 is approved, you are never subject to the H Cap again, even if you change employers.
不太明白这点，以前我听说的是485上交180天后才能换雇主，而且H Cap本来对H1 tranfer 就没影响啊。律师说的是不是意味着，140批了后换雇主绿卡申请就算作废了，但是工作签证的身份还是无限期有效的。
绿卡盲一个，请大侠答疑。
