could I transfer my H1B to the new company?
-Yes, of course. Using AP does not affact your H-1 transfer and you can work immediately for the new company after your file the transfer (do not need to wait for the approval). After your H-1 transfer is approved, your status will be H-1, no more AOS.

You can file your H-1 in Sept. and work in Oct.
