PJiang please help on I94 question

Pjian and other experts,

I recently landed in Canada and came back by using AP. I got a new I-94 from the CBP. On the new I-94 it shows an expiration date of my AP expiration date. Can I stay beyond this new I-94 expiration date? I do have a pending I485 but do I have to renew AP to keep my AOS status because my current AP's expiration date was used for I-94?

any other people have used AP and got new I94 card that having an expiration date?
