EAD renewal approved, expedite request worked

RD 7/31, NSC. Here is the email I received from CRIS:

Application Type: I765 , APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION

Current Status: Card production ordered.

On August 28, 2008, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you.

I just called CRIS requested expedite processing this Tuesday. And it is approved 2 days later after I called.

***So everybody worried about EAD renewal cannot get approved before old EAD expires, call them and request expedite processing!
