Xiaobaitu, Pjiang and other experts: (Urgent)

Can anyone have experience or advice going to China for two months while I-485 is pending? My company plans to send me to China for two months (leaving around mid-Sept). My PD is 2/2006 I-140 approved in 2007 and I-485 is pending for more than a year. Is it going to be risky?
