申请父母来美探亲拒， 请帮忙。

My parents' application was rejected since they didn't have the approval notice of year 2004 visa extension. I think somehow the notice was lost. All they have is the receipt. I checked the case number on the receipt from Uscis.gov and found that the case was approved and notice was mailed in Sep.3, 2004. Next time if they take the receipt and the status information I print from USCIS, do they have a chance to get their visas? Thanks a lot.
