Since you applied EAD and its usage may invalidate your H1B status. When considering H1b invalidation, your GAP between EADs may bring you into unauthorized employment situation.

So besides providing H-1B approval notice with I-94 to cover above questioned period, you need yo emphsize that you did not use EAD for employment/work for other employer rather than H1b sponsor.
