H-1 transfer or new H-1?

I am a H-1 holder and working at A university as a postdoc. Now I got an offer from B university for a faculty position. (1) Should B university apply a new H-1 for me or just do H-1 transfer? (2) What is the diference between them? I have two month vacation time and it seems that I can not take vacation before I start work at B. (3) Can I legally get paid from A after I start working at B? Thank you for your kind answers.
