Go to see if there is an I-94 number on the H-1B approval notice. This notice should show I-797A on the right corner on the approval notice. If no I-94 number on it, you should go to China to get a visa sticker. Kindly remind you that the school as petitioner receives I-797C approval notice without I-94 number on it. You should get I-797A approval notice. GO to google with I-797 key word to know about it.
