Are you licensed to practice? Did you skip PERM using schedule A, if that is the case, EB3 is correct and you should expect the immigrant visa number to be current soon after Congress passes the 20K additional quota. I expect around end of 2008.
laws about J1 doctor or schedule A usually will be passed and then signed by President, unlike other EB bills, which are a dime a dozen every year but only few will go through the committe and then NONE will be passed in a typical year.
