I know *****. who applied AP and left the next day. AP was ready within 30 days. This person stayed in China half a year and they allowed him. But this is spouse. He was put in a small room and they verified if he is the person whose AP belonged to.
Your situation is for parents. Do they speak English? Can they ask for a translator? Tell them not to be nevous.
