if stay in China for short time, then show them the boarding pass(for the plane left US), the stamped passport (with date for her entrance to China) if they have question when inquire her.

If for long period, such as over 3 months, then make a copy of boarding pass, passport with entrance date to China, and a letter for explaination to the following address:
