Good to know USCIS automatically transferred your earlier PD. For I-485, it certainly carries the earlier PD.

While I guess the I-485 may still be linked to EB-3 I-140, not EB-2 I-140, although they carry same earlier PD. In such case, you may want to request an I-485 Transfer.
