Just got my renewal EAD card (2 years) from NSC

Just got my EAD card (renewal) from NSC today.

EAD renewal was sent by my lawyer on 6/17 to NSC, have not received the
receipt yet but today I received the card from NSC.

Approval date: 7/10 (it is pretty fast). 2 years EAD starting 7/10 instead
of the expiration date of my old EAD card (October). Basically it cut
almost 3 months. I guess it is ok since it is two years EAD card.

My case: PERM-based EB2 with PD 2/2006.
My I-485 will be current next month (August). I guess the new rules do work:
1) approved after 6/30
2) PD is not current based on the current VB (month when the EAD card is
approved)

Hopefully I can get my I-485 approved in August and I don't need to use the
EAD card anymore. Good luck to everyone.
