I think "GaoYaoGuo" caught the point here, and my answer was based on assumption that your previous H-1B expired on "My last H1B working day is 6/27/08". In your situation, which is the same as the one in your example, you may withdraw pending H-4 petition after an H-1b xfer has been received.
