I now think, if your I-485 is denied and you're in Parole status as using AP, you will need to reinstate in H-1/H-4 status by 1) either re-enter using appropriate visa, or 2) file paper work with USCIS to extend H-4/amend H-1 respective status.

My personal opinion.
