You can find the SOC (Standard Occupational Classification) code in your I-140 application if you have a copy. You may find more detailed info on: http://www.bls.gov/soc/

You can check your new job title's SOC code to see if it belongs to the same/similar category as the one you used in your I-140 application. If you are transferring your H1B to new company, you may want to make sure the occupational code refers to similar job titles and category as well.
