so you are saying if i want to work, get a new h1b from current (or whichever) company instead of transfer. Am I right that i don't get limited by the 20000+65000 cap, since i have used h1 in the past and didn't use it up to 6 years?

Then why do i need to go out of US, assuming my EAD can still be valid for 2-3 month (I hope)?
