Schedule an Infopass on line. You can almost pick a day as you please. Bring your receipt. I think that local office is printing temporary work permit any more.

However, you may call the number on your receipt first. Inquire about your status or ask for a fax number you can fax your request for expeditious processing.

I don't think that 90-day rule applies to your family-based case. However, I may be wrong due to lack of more information about your individual case.
