Pjiang, Xiaobaitu, and others - please help!!!!!

My H1B will expire next Feb (3 years). Currently I have EAD card and it will expire Sept. I have following questions:
1). How much is the renew cost for H1B with 2 dependents?
2). I am still working for the original company that applyied H1B for me. Is there any possibility for my H1B renewal to be rejected?
3). Could I renew my H1B by myself?
4). Do I have to renew my EAD card? My lawyer said it's OK if EAD card is not renewed.
