document. I think it disclose too much personal info. Such as, I got a young son who might need grandparents care.

The only two things that VO checked were: our first visa stamp copy when entering U.S. My letter to VO. (according to what our parents recalled).

It is not necessary, especially when you don't want the VO knows about your kid, etc. Of course, when asked, you have to be honest.
