how to sponsor spouse GC?

Can we have a great and detailed discusion regarding how the green card holder to bring the spouse to join with him together. We can have two sections: one is if the spouse is in China, another is if spouse is in USA. Maybe we can finf some good paths to make the family reunie ASAP.
