OPT与H1生效有2个月的gap,根据新的政策，身份可以自动延长，但在gap期间是否可以继续工作呢？看了张哲瑞律师的最新文章，被弄糊涂了（http://immigration.wenxuecity.com/BBSView.php?SubID= zzr&MsgID=667）
“如果F-1学生已经完成了他/她的post-completion OPT，到4月1日时仍然处于宽限期内，并且他/她的H-1B申请已经在移民局规定时间内提交，他/她就可以获得自己的D/S身份的自动延期。但是，工作许可不会自动延期，因为它已经到期了，名额空档期并不会使工作许可自然而然地获得延长。”。

也就是说gap期间不可以工作？但这和他以前说的自相矛盾哪？也和uscis的解释矛盾。
“If the H-1B petition filed on behalf of the student is selected during the acceptance period, the student may remain in the United States and continue working until the October 1 start date indicated on the approved H-1B petition. The student may benefit from this provision only if he/she has not violated his/her status."

They conflict so you need to make your decision.
