It is a hard situation, but the best is to try to find a new job and make an H1-B transfer ASAP. If your 140 is NIW based, they require that the field to be the same. Also, when you submitted 485, you submitted employment letter to show you were able to support yourself financially. The important thing is to find a job quickly.
