Just got the denied email from NSC (IO#226):

PD: 2006, 10
RFE: 2008, 2
Denied:2008, 5

PhD in life science
1 paper in English and 20 papers in Chinese from the projects when in China)

Projects in US are extremely difficult, fewer paper could be published
