Calm down! I had same experience as you are. I have approved I-140 and pending I-485. I lost my job for a couple of weeks in April 2008, and thereafter lost H1 status. Luckily I found a new job in this May and I use EAD to work by now. My opinion is that it is still OK if you lose your job for less than three months.
