green card petition - related experience?

Hi,

I am new to this forum.

I am now discussing with my firm about the green card petition. I would like to file under EB2. However, my firm said that since the position does not require a Master degree, I will have to file under EB3.

I am just wondering whether my oversea experience will count. I had worked 2 years in accounting in China and I have worked 3 years in auditing in USA before joining this firm. Thus do I have 5 years related experience (accounting and auditing) to be qualified to file under EB2?

Please please please help. I am about to talk to my HR tomorrow.
