请问xiaobaitu, pjiang等人, 我应该继续等relink还是file 2nd 485?

Right now I think that I am in a dilemma. My 140 EB1B and NIW were approved last July just after I filed 485 with NIW. I requested the relink and 9 months passed, but I got no news.

I went to infopass several times, but I was told that they could not do anything and they could not tell if my files were relinked or not. I was also told by an officer that the relink could not be done before the name check was cleared. Is that true?

Since my I-485 follows EB2 NIW, they won't process the name check as prompt as I-485 following EB1 case. Therefore, they are not relinking my I485 to my EB1B. It seems that my EB1B is not useful at all.

What should I do now? Should I continue to wait for the relink or file a 2nd 485?

Now I just prey that they will touch my file soon. Will renewing EAD/AP make them review my file and do the relink?

If I file a 2nd 485, do I need to withdraw the 1st 485? how soon can I get approved?
