I called them a while ago as well, maybe we talked to the same lady--I got the same answer from her. And then I told her that my case met the MEMO, she said then referred to the April 2nd MEMO, the new deadline for the MEMO is now Nov 2008. She asked me to wait until them to contact them again. My name check has been pending for 2 years already!
