well, a few years ago they promised to Congress to process all application with 6 months, now what ?

Remember, those regulation have no legal liability, and that's why congress set some laws (like Writ of Mandamus, WOM) to force federal agent to follow their own regulation, the problem is that you have to sue them if you want them to shut up.

So either trust them and wait for endless (well, there always some luck one who got processed within timeframe-so they can claim that they finish many cases with timeframe), or file lawsuit to push them.
