申请美国公民的Selective Service Registration

在准备美国公民面试所要求的材料。 其中有一项是 any evidence of Selective Service Registration. 上网查了一下， 好像是针对男性申请人关于注册服兵役的。 所以女性申请人就不用准备这项材料了。 是这样吗？ 谢谢大家。
