我是resident还是non啊?填税表，比较晕

我是2003年来美国读书的，f1，现在还是学生。我记得我们学校那个管税的跟我说好像可以填resident.但是我看到好像f1要5年以后才是resident，我到底怎么样才知道我是resident还是non啊。谢谢帮忙
