Pjiang, or Xiaobaitu, Please help, O1 visa

I filed my I-485 last July. Now I got two job opportunities. The first one is academic job, I guess there is not problem for me to get H1B. But the second one is industry job, the industry employer said they can only sponsor O1 visa. I do not know if this is possible since I heard that O1 visa belongs to non-immigrant visa, which could be rejected once I-485 is filed. But the pay is higher in industry. If O1 is not possible, I have to take the academic position. Could you please help me out so I can make decision? I guess it is not nice if I let both of them to work on my visa issue and I make decision afterward. Thank you very much!
