欲哭无泪! 紧急求助Xiaobaitu, Pjiang 以及各位前辈: 如何应对USCIS的错误?

Xiaobaitu, Pjiang 以及各位前辈,

我的I-140于三月10日被拒, 原因是TSC没有收到我的additional evidence. 在拒我的信上清楚地写着:

On Jan. 7, 2008, this Service requested that you provide additional evidence in support of your petition. At that time you were allowed twelve (12) weeks to respond to the request. As of the date of this letter (March 10, 2008), this office has not received a response to this request. As of this date, a period in excess of 12 weeks has elapsed and you have not submitted the requested evidence. Therefore, your petition must be considered abandoned and cannot be approved.

请注意: twelve (12) weeks 是84天, 也就是说deadline应该是March 31, 2008, 而不是March 10, 2008. 因而, USCIS拒我是错误的.

问题在于: 我该如何应对?

打电话给custom service 去要求他们改正? 这可能吗? 会不会让the officer记恨在心, 然后鸡蛋里挑骨头?
或者, motion to reopen? 费用是多少? 回信中如何说才恰当?
