Thank you very much for your kindly reply. If you could, please give me your additional thoughts on my son's case, because I'm afraid I did not explain his situation clearly.

His gap was before I485 submission, and after the gap and I485 bsubmission, last year he re-entered US with AP. We just got GC's, but received RFE from CIS for my son at the same time. So do not know what is going to happen, and what additional files we should supply for the best.
是否一点希望都没有了，还是case by case
