485 has been pending for 6 years and 4 months

applied 9 EADs (almost every 9 months), the last one is still pending...

6 Fingerprints (when I did an enquiry, I usually received a FP notice later). USCIS sometimes made mistakes and I got two FP notices within 3 months.

Letters to Senators, congressman, FBI, USCIS, and First Lady. Got replies from senators, congressman, and FBI that my case is stuck in name check.

Found a lawyer to file WOM and price is about 6000, depending whether there is an court appearance. Just want to sign the deal and the name check memo came out in time.

Called USCIS after memo and usually the lady would transfer my call to her manager because my case is too long. But this time I was told to wait until April 30.

Got REF for all past EADs and Skin Test on 2/27.

Sent REFs on 3/7.

Updates on 3/10: REFs received
Update on 3/11: no content change
Update on 3/12: card ordered

Finally, I hope it takes less than 8 years to receive the ordered card and best wishes to all those still waiting.
