A). 美国条件绿卡转正式绿卡还需要面谈吗？ most cases are NO. rarely be interviewed for very solid "good" cases.

1. check is an uncertain thing
2. the time line is very different. from 2 weeks to ?? months
3. it is done by another Federal Angency. it is not done by BCIS.

generally about 2 months to 1 year for most cases.

I was intereviewed in April 03, still in waiting(Oct. 2003) .
