F-1身份的学生在140批后, 等485批阶段要注意什么?

老婆I140批了, 她在递交I485时候, 我作为spouse也交了I485.最近我们都拿到了AP, EAD. 但我现在还是在校学生(F-1). 我现在还要履行什么其他法律手续吗? 要告诉international student office什么吗? 如果我离开美国, 回来时候用AP, 我的F-1 身份就应该没了吧? (看了几个律师的文章, 都这么说). 那我算什么身份呢? 问了律师, 他只知道用AP回来F-1身份就没了,他也建议我去问问international student office.

有人有这种经历吗? 盼高手支招.
