A quick question for PJIANG and XBT

Thanks to your many great helps, directly or indrectly, I received my welcome notice today. However, it says in the notice that "Your new card will expire in two years ..." I thought the valid duration of GC is 10 years, how come mine is just 2? I have not received the card yet, but I am a bit curious about this? Could you give me some clue again? Thank you.
