485 interview

Anybody knows for family based 485 both have to live together? My hu*****and lives 100 miles away from me, two weeks after we filed 485 he lost his job. Four months passed, he's still searching for a job. So I have to take jobs in my city instead just move to his city searching a job. I am afraid it will be a problem when interview. Any suggestions whould be appreciate!!!
