I got a H1B visa (stamp) on 12/03/07 at Guangzhou Consulate, which is valid for only 3 months. Currently, I am working at Jone*****oro, AR. My employer has several facilities in China. Since I work as a liaison for our Chinese suppliers, I need to travel to China and back to the States quite frequently (about 3 to 4 times per year). My questions are:
1. Is three months the usual validity duration for H1B visa stamp?
2. Are there any ways that I could get a visa stamp for longer validity (say 12 months)?
3. Also, could I have a visa with multiple entries?
If yes, I will not need to apply for a new visa every time travelling back to China. It will help me a lot!
Thanks for your help in advance!
