Experts: Please Help -can I change job without I-140 receipt?

Thanks in advance:
My I-140 was approved more than 1 year ago. But the company attorney never gave me the receipt, not even a copy. Only informed me on that.
My I-485 has been pending for more than 180 days, got my EAD and AP. In this situation, can I change job? do I have to get my I-140 receipt to carry over my current AOS case? How to get around if I can't get a receipt from the attorney? Thank you!
